S-SITE BADGES
DESCRIPTION:
We made up replica badges like those that were used at S-site where the machining of the high explosives used in the first atomic bombs was done. The 235 is for Uranium 235 – the fissile isotope of Uranium used in ‘Little Boy’ the first Atomic bomb which was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945.
SPECIAL NOTES:
The photo is similar to the replica badge, but the number is 235, and it has 2 pin clips on the back to attach to clothing instead of a single pin on the original.
